The drive circuit of liquid crystal display is composed of double D trigger 74HC74 and double input exclusive-OR gate 74HC86. Some fuel dispensers adopt speci fuel dispenser al crystal drive circuit in liquid crystal display, its principle basically simila fuel dispenser r to 74 series LCD drive circuit. A few fuel dispenser manufacturers adopt light-emitting diode (LED) as display components of display board because its cost is low and need not backlight in evening. The defect of this display component is bad display effect, especially under extensive sunlight, and much electricity consumption. LED display drive circuit also has parallel and serial drive, similar to LCD display drive circuit in terms of structure. Very few fuel dispensers adopt matrix or color liquid crystal display, showing much information. However, it largely increases cost. 2.4 Power supply Stable voltage power supply used in explosion-proof fuel dispenser Most of fuel dispensers adopt explosion-proof type, installing liner stable voltage power supply or switch voltage power supply. Switch voltage stabilizing power supply includes power transformer, DC/DC converter, 220V direct commute and pulse transformer, illustrated in Diagram 3-14 and 3-15. Due to cost-efficient and simple design, liner stable voltage power is widely adopted. However, it is affected by exterior network voltage. Although pulse transformer is able to tackle with network voltage fluctuation, it is can’t afford because of complicated technology, expensive cost and difficult to maintenance. In recent years, D

5.4.6 Actions when a dispenser recognises that the line is cut The dispenser recognises that a SC device does not answer to a message on the physical level (no ACKNOWLEDGEMENT on LONTalk level also after the retries). DO: Stop sending any more unsolicited messages to the SC de fuel dispenser vice Repeat all unanswered and outstanding messages when the Dispenser recognises that the line is back again (the dispenser recieves a heartbeat from the SC device before heartbeat timeout). When a dispenser recovers out of Stand Alone mode it must be re-configured. When a Dispenser is put into stand alone mode it must carry out the following actions: For all the Fuelling Points controlled by the dispenser it must send out the unsolicited message FP_Status_Message (Data_Id 100) to all CD s entered in the Dispenser s Recipient_Table. The FP_Status_Message must indicate that the FP has been assigned to stand alone mode (Assign_Contr_Id=255 255). Continue communications (including the sending of Heartbeats) to all devices logged in the Recipient_Table. This will allow Control Devices i.e. Tank Level Gauges that need to know what transactions have been occurring on the site to still go and get the transaction details. Mr Téllez suggests measures such as tax breaks for firms that set up in the south. But such remedies have been tried elsewhere, without much success. Whatever form it takes, Mexico certainly needs a regional policy for the south. © 2006 . About sponsors fuel dispenser hip Plodding on Nov 16th 2006 From The Economist print edition E fuel dispenser conomic stability is all very well, but where s the growth? MR FOX had barely installed himself in Los Pinos, Mexico City s modernist presidential complex, in December 2000 when his country was dealt two blows that stopped economic growth in its tracks. The dotcom bubble burst, triggering a slowdown in industrial production on both sides of the border. And China joined the World Trade Organisation, marking the arrival of a powerful competitor to Mexico for footloose manufacturers hoping to export to the United States. Those twin blows caused three years of economic stagnation in Mexico and the loss of some 700,000 formal jobs, most of them in the maquiladora plants producing goods for export. Some of those jobs moved to China. In the second half of Mr Fox s term growth has picked up. This year it is heading for 4.5%, the highest figure since 2000. In the first nine months of this year some 900,000 formal jobs were created, almost keeping pace with the growth in the labour force. That is thanks in part to higher oil prices. But it is also because the private sector has made a big effort to cut costs and regain its competitive edge, as Alfredo Thorne of JPMorgan, an investment bank, points out. The car industry is doing especially well, with output in the first half of this
